Designed for access.
A practical commitment to a clear, perceivable and operable website.
Commitment
niclasbraun.com aims to provide an accessible experience for a broad professional audience, including people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom, high-contrast settings and reduced-motion preferences. The design is informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, although this voluntary statement is not a certification of full conformance.
Measures implemented
- Semantic headings, landmarks and navigation labels.
- A keyboard-accessible skip link and mobile navigation.
- Visible focus behaviour supplied by the user agent and interface styling.
- Text alternatives or presentational treatment for meaningful and decorative graphics.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and narrow viewports.
- A reduced-motion mode that disables non-essential animation.
- No information conveyed by colour alone in core content.
- No autoplaying audio, flashing content or time-limited interactions.
Known limitations
The scroll-based journey is enhanced visually, but its full narrative is also present as ordinary structured text. External websites linked from this site are outside our control and may not provide an equivalent level of accessibility. Browser, assistive-technology and operating-system combinations can also render features differently.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another format, email contact@by4si.com. Please identify the page, the issue, your browser or assistive technology where relevant, and the format you need. We will review reasonable requests and aim to respond promptly.
